My name is Nitasha and I was born and raised here in Calgary. I am a dedicated and results-driven professional with a strong foundation in human resource management and customer service. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), I am eager to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges while continuing to develop my expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and policy administration.
My career spans various roles, including Guest Service Representative, Assistant Manager, and HR Mentee, which have demonstrated my versatility and commitment to professional growth. During my time at VIVO, I improved my skills in customer relationship management, safety protocol implementation, and operational coordination. I also contributed to workplace safety as a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, where I helped ensure a hazard-free environment through inspections, program development, and team collaboration.
Previously, I gained valuable HR experience through Groupe Dynamite’s HR Mentee Program, where I supported coaching, performance reviews, and health and safety audits. My leadership abilities were further strengthened in my roles as Assistant Manager at Groupe Dynamite and Key Holder at Forever 21, where I excelled in recruitment, staff training, and team supervision.
I am skilled in conflict resolution, recruitment and onboarding, and employee relations, and I pride myself on being adaptable, a quick learner, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. As a certified First Aid & CPR/AED professional, I am also passionate about giving back to the community, having volunteered with Food for Life to prepare and distribute meals at a drop-in center.
