Karina Bermudez is a registered provisional psychologist with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counselling. She has experience in the mental health sector working with children, teens, groups, and adults dealing with various issues such as anger management, domestic violence, burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, loss and grief, marital conflict and other concerns. Additionally, she has experience working with a team of professionals supporting children with learning disabilities in school settings.
Karina is originally from Panama and has lived in different countries and provinces, allowing her to work and connect with a diverse population with an open mind. She uses theories such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Client Centered Therapy. In addition, Karina is empathetic and passionate about supporting and accompanying clients in their healing journey.
Karina provides psychoeducational assessment and counselling services for children, teenagers and adults.
