Katia Bruce

 
Born and raised in Drummondville, Quebec in a family where both her parents are nurses and several family members were working in hospitals and in the healthcare field, Katia developed an interest in health & wellness and how the human body works and how it could function better early on in life. She saw mostly the side of health care in treating health conditions after they had developed, but she was predominantly fascinated about prevention.

Going through her own life and health issues experiences, including giving birth, nursing and raising up 4 beautiful and healthy children, she started to understand that the quality of what you put in has a lot to do with what you get out. Her quest for better health led her first to self-study into more natural and organic ways of eating and living. As a result, she developed a passion for health and wellness, healthier cooking, making healthy meals tasting great, and trying different things nutritionally on herself and…her (mostly-having-not-much-choice-about-it!) family. She soon noticed improvements and she was sharing her findings with others as well. The natural thought succession of making this a career soon followed and in 2011, she graduated from Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to become a Holistic Nutritionist so she could be able to professionally help others in their pursuit of healthier nutrition and overall health. As a holistic nutritionist, she commits to help design a nutritional plan that best matches each individual’s uniqueness and specific nutritional needs to aim at a better health and healing. Her areas of interest are: helping women get ready nutritionally for conception, pregnancy and post-pregnancy, pediatric nutrition, busy lifestyles nutrition, allergies, and thyroid & endocrinal health nutrition.
