Gina Chevalier, RMT
Gina Chevalier started her career as a personal trainer before pursuing a career in massage therapy. She has a 2200 hours remedial therapeutic massage therapy diploma from the MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy as well as a holistic practitioner diploma from the BC Institute of Holistic Studies. Gina’s love of dance led her to a 2 year diploma program in kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley, where she studied biomechanics, fitness management, and human movement. Fifteen years in the massage and bodywork industry has given Gina the opportunity to work in prestigious spas, wellness centers and clinics on both the west and east coasts. She was the owner of a successful massage and bodywork practice on Vancouver Island for ten years prior to her move to Calgary. She finds the study of the human body fascinating and finds fulfillment in helping others on their journey to health, wellness and quality of life. She has a variety of holistic and manual techniques that help her to achieve this. Some of her skills involve orthopaedic massage techniques combined with kinetic movement of the joints as well as her advanced training in energy work and essential oils for relaxation and healing. Gina is enjoying working with the Synergea team.
